Registration and Login Manual
To Register
Registering gives you full privileges including the ability to contribute to the bibliography.
You do not have to be registered to use this database! It is assumed that registered users are active in the field and willing to contribute to the development of the bibliography.

  • 1. Point your Internet browser to
  • 2. Select "Register" under the Wikindx drop down menu
    • Fill out the form:
      An email address
      A brief explanation of who you are
      (anonymous applications will not be accepted)
    • Click on the "Proceed" button in the lower right hand corner
    • You should get a green confirmation bar to show that it worked
    • Exit or select "Home" from the Wikindx menu
    • You should receive, hopefull promptly, a confirmation email in the
      address you gave
    • Click on the link provided in the confirmation email
    • This brings up a registration form that should be self explanatory.
      The user name given here cannot be edited later and will forever be the login
      name you use. The "long name" field is editable.
      Unlike many passwords, there are no length or letter/number
      restrictions on these passwords

  • 3. To modify your password, email address or screen name or to set up
    verification questions (in case you forget your password): after logging
    in go to "My Wikindx" item under the Wikindx menu. [for now, ignore the
    other options on this web page. Instructions for these items will come
  • 4. Make sure your browser allows for cookies at this site.
    Instructions for this are given below.

To Log in
  • 1. Select "Login" from the Wikindx drop down menu.
  • 2. The "username" is the name you gave when you registered originally.
  • 3. If you forget your password and have set up any verification
    questions, click on "Forgotten your Password?" Answer the prompt
    question and your password will be emailed to you.

This bibliography requires the use of cookies stored on you computer.
Many people have cookies turned off by default on their browsers. To
make this site an allowed site without globally turning cookies on:
  • 1. From the dropdown menu, select Tools/Options From the notebook, select the
    Privacy tab and the Cookies tab on that page.
  • 2. Click on the "Exceptions" button.
  • 3. Paste in or type the url:
  • 4. CLick on the "Allow" button
  • 5. Repeat steps 3 & 4 for the url:
  • 6. close each window until back to Firefox main window

Microsoft Internet Explorer (At least up to version 6)
  • 1. From the drop down menu, select Tools/Internet options...
  • 2. Click on the "Privacy" tab, then click on "Sites"
  • 3. Paste in or type the url: into the box labeled "Address of web site"
  • 4. Click on the "Allow" button, then "ok"
  • 5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 for the URL
  • 6. Click on OK for each window until you're back to IE's amin window

instructions to other browsers that are emailed to me at
